Mazingara Ni Afya is going to have two main revenue sources:

 

• Major revenue streams will be from the leasing of our equipment to trash collectors. Each item rented/ leased will be able to repay itself after less than 1 month of activity.

  • The estimated useful life of gumboots is 1 year, their cost is 6,4€ per pair

  • Gloves are expected to last for 8-12 months’ and they have a cost of cost 4,58€

  • Gas Masks have a useful life of 1 year, their cost is 22,9€ each

• Lights have an estimated useful light of 1 month, they cost 11,0 €. Their renting price will be 2 kg of wastes per night (worth1,1€ shilling for the company). After 10 working days the company is going to earn profit, which will be earn for the next 20.

• Carts have a useful life of 20 years, costing 91,74€ . Mazingara ni Afya is renting them for 5 kg of wastes per day, the equivalent of 2,95€ . They are going to repay themselves after 30 working days, not considering maintenance and personnel expenses.
