WHO ARE OUR CUSTOMERS

Our customers are people working daily on the dumpsite, despite its dangerousness In addition companies aimed to recycle big amounts of wastes will be purchasers. Safer working conditions needs to be provided to those people and as well as providing them with a stable source of income. Our customers are scared of not having  food, shelter and clothing. Their main concern is to provide their families with the basic needs. Being exploited by the other middle men and paying illegal tax to the private cartels.

And finally one of the biggest anxieties is the existence of the dump site. Their biggest fear is the dumpsite closing down. As much as the dumpsite is a source of many diseases and deaths in Dandora it has been seen as a source of their income, and survival.

After conducting interviews from our customer segments, the use of protective  materials for the people on the site is a need.

Their main desire is not risking their lives, but having a stable income and assurance of their collected wastes being bought at a better price.

Our customers are working long hours, so they desire to have lighting poles on the dumpsite so that they can work during the early hours when it is dark.

Walking without shoes and picking up rubbish with bare hands is also a big problem in Dandora. In addition to this toxic gases are making  them sick and having frequent visits to the hospitals. The amount of money they earn a day is much less than the amount spent on their medical bills. Nowadays they earn their living picking up trash in the dumpsite, selling it to middlemen. Doing so they achieve a daily income lower than $1.
