ECONOMIC LEVEL
Level of poverty will be slowly eradicated having an effect on the GDP per capital and (trash collectors) thereby increasing their purchasing power of different products contributing to the growth of the economy. Kenya’s GDP per capital is 5.3% (World bank,2014).

Kenya’s image will be greatly improved, that is an added value to their tourism industry, the industry provides employment to Kenyans both in the formal and the informal sectors .in recent years the GDP contributed from the tourism industry in Kenya dropped from 13% to 11% in 2014 (CNBC Africa).

Government fund allocation on Dandora projects will be reduced and hence more money will be allocated on most important projects, this may stimulate development in Kenya. The amount of money allocated on medical treatment and environment will be used on some other developing projects such as providing primary education, project generating incomes for women. (SVQF)

The company will have a yearly expenditure that will cover any social activities that will help the people in the area as well as the other people in the slums of Nairobi. we will have a decent budget on the social corporate activities such as making water tanks for clean drinking water, partnering with clinics in order to provide medical facilities and as well empowering children to be involved in activities that will benefit their lives in terms of education and career.

Finally, the trash collectors will receive a bonus from the company based on the total amount of equipment they purchase or use from our company.

Mazingira Ni Afya will have a great impact on the environment in various ways

Social level
The impact on the social point of view is going to be the biggest one.
Offering people safer working conditions will improve their health. Less money will be spent on medicals; collectors are visiting medicians twice a month, paying 1000 shillings (9.17€) each time, therefore our customers may save 2000 shilling (18.35€) monthly, (66.6 shiillings daily, 0,61€).
People working on the dump site are the bread winners of most families in Dandora, so this business will have an overall positive effect on a large amount of the population of the slum. Indeed each family might enjoy additional 90 shilling (0,82€) a day to afford food, just using our light. On average a family spend 150 shillings (1,38 €) for groceries per day, so the raise in income provided by Mazingara Ni Afia would be worth 3/5 of the basic need of people.
Renting a cart will cause, on average, an increase in profit to the collectors of 5 kg of wastes, the equivalent of 225 shilling (2,06€) daily, which will be able to improve the living standard of the collectors.
People are going to be able to lease our product, enjoying a stable form of income, due to the long term relationship with us.
Environmental level
On environmental level our end product of the business is going to reduce the size that the dumpsite occupies, cleaning the dump site. A great reduction in the size of the wastes will mean reducing the level of pollution caused by burning trash, acidic water and poor soils. As a consequence significantly decreasing the number of medical treatments required by the local community and the major causes of deaths. The medical expenses are prospected to be reduced to half of their actual amount: 1000 shilling (9,17€) per person monthly instead than 2000 (18,35€) ; taking in account that 400000 people lives in the slum, this would lead to an overall save of 400000000 shilling monthly.
The citizen of Nairobi will benefit from our work as well, not suffering from the pollution of the site. In addition, cleaning the dump, will limit the phenomenon of leakage of toxic liquids, polluting the water used for agricultural purposes, favoring farmers and the society. This benefit could be estimated in a raise in income of the farmers of 50 shillings (0,46€) per day, due to the better quality, competitiveness of their product and in an increase of the healthy conditions of the population estimated around 5 shilling per person. Calculating that all Nairobi's citizen will benefit of this health improvement, 4.5 million people will enjoy saving 5 shillings, society will overall gain 22.5 million shillings, to be summed to the 400 million gain from the slum.
Gender inequality will be reduced as well, as our company do not prevent females workers to collaborate with us, instead it truly believe in gender equality, collaborating with NGOS promoting this last.
