Mazingara Ni Afya is going to run a value based pricing strategy.

The additional values that the company provides is rappresented by the healthy procedures applied and by the high impact that our equipment can have on the productivity of the collectors.

Our company is going to work in a blue ocean environment, because no one is renting equipment to the collectors nowadays. Middleman are the main competitors, buying 1kg of wastes at 30 shillings. 

• Mazingara Ny Afya is going to receive wastes at a price of 45 shilling per kg.

• The company is renting healthy equipment (gas masks, gumboots and gloves worth in total 3700 shillings) at a price of 2kg of trash received. The collectors who will employ these tools will most likely reduce the amount spent on medical bills therefore the value added to the product could be accounted as 33.3 shilling plus the costs of mantainance of the tools.

Just the customers who will rent and use the protective equipment will be allowed to bring wastes to Mazingara Ni Afya or to rent production increasing equipment (carts, wheel barrow)

•  The  cost of buying each forehead light is 1200 shillings. Lights are rented at a price  equivalent to the amount paid on  2 kg of wastes. The additional value provided by this item is really remarkable, due to the fact that it allows the customers to fulfill their desire of working for long hours in a day.

• Carts will be rented at a price of  5kg of wastes. They are expected to increse the amount of wastes collected by an individual of 15kg, so customers will enjoy an additional income of 10kg.
